TECHNOLOGY


Integrating technology into the curriculum is a priority -- if not a mandate -- in most schools today. At BCS we agree that technology should be integrated, not as a separate subject or as a once-in-a-while project, but as a tool to promote and extend student learning on a daily basis. Laptops are "rolled out" to the students in most classrooms so that the students will have computer access during any subject. Recently we have undertaken a major task of constructing and building a computer lab. We are in the process of supplying the lab with the necessary technology equipment. This lab will be used for day classes and the extended day GEAR program.
