Investing in Today's Youth and Impacting Generations to Come

Without the financial support of others, our school could not offer an excellent, holistic and extensive educational experience for Baltimore City youth at a price affordable to families in all socioeconomic levels. Eight of ten families at our school are female led single parent households. Our average tuition paid is $1,800, however to educate each student it costs $7,800.  Your gifts make it possible for our families to have all the benefits of a private school education (safe and structured setting, small class sizes, Christian context, individual tracking, extended school and summer camps, exposure to various role models, skills and experiences, commitment to excellence, youth centered planning, partnerships with family and community, leadership development tracking system and much more).

Areas of giving:

There are two main ways to direct your support. We attempt to not only direct our funding to the most critical areas, but to allow you the choice to match your desires or special interest.

Sponsorship Fund

Over 20 years ago a woman who lives on Boundary Road, which is now 42nd Street met with a group of women to pray about a vision to start a church that would address the educational needs of local children. Baltimore Christian School is evidence that her prayers where answered. You can help keep that vision alive by donating to our scholarship fund. Our annual goal is to raise $500,000. Your scholarship gifts will be assigned to students in each grade and you will receive annual updates on student progress. You may suggest a grade you would like your funds to be directed too.

                                     

Programs/Special Projects

Funds can go directly to our technology, art, music, physical education/sports, and summer camp programs. Our overall goal is to raise $500,000 each year. Donors may designate to give to the grade of their choice.

You can also give financial support as a one time, monthly or semi-annual gift.

 

Creative Ways to Give

  • Donate stock ( sell part of your stock and donate the profits to the school)
  • Donate merchandise (Automobiles, property, boats, etc. All or a part of the sales can be donated to the school)
  • Make a Faith Promise (i.e. if God allows my business to make a profit of _____, I will give 5% of it to the school)
  • Planned giving –As part of a living will a person can request that a portion of their assets be donated to the school)
  • Honor or Memorial Gift (give your gift in honor of in loving memory of someone)
  • Matching Gift (your gift will only be granted, if the school finds someone to match it)
