G.E.A.R
Extended Day Program
Baltimore Christian School has an extended day program. It is called G.E.A.R. which stands for God, Education, Aptitude and Relationships. Students have a snack and have recreation time to release some energy. a variety of enrichment classes in music, dance, art, sports and drama are offered from 2:45 to6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
G.E.A.R. is a extension of the school's plan to accomplish their vision
Prepare youth to make successful transitions into adulthood, to become leaders for the 21st century and pursue their higher calling in context of God's love.
National youth organizations have found that youth who are involved in regular athletic and creative expression classes and engaged in meaningful activities valued by others increase their chance of avoiding at risk behaviors and developing leadership; traits.
G.E.A.R. extended day program offers a student the chance to take classes in creative expression, sports.

Sports - students will have the chance to develop their athletic fitness skills related to sports such as basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. |

Creative Expression - students will have the chance to develop and showcase their skills in dance, music and community art classes. |
Academics

Academics - Homework Tutoring - Students will have the chance to receive additional support for their homework and tutoring in reading and math. |
Each day consist of snacks, homework/study time, and a class
2:45- 3:15 snacks
3:20 - 4:00 homework/study
4:10 - 5:20 class
5:30 - 6:00 pick up at school (late fees will apply)
