EXTRACURRICULAR
Day School Co-Curricular Classes
All co-curricular Activities will be integrated with the content taught in other academic subjects. We will also use the music and art classes to learn enhance our community and learn more about various cultures
Physical Education and Sports
- We have a day school physical education and health program related skills.
- We also have sports teams in soccer and basketball. Students will practice during week nights and or after shcool hours and compete against teams from other schools and communities
Creative Expression Classes in Music and Art
Music
We have introduction classes for theory and basic concepts along with performing classes in keyboard and other percussion instruments. We will also have voice classes and a performing school choir.
Art
We provide instruction in basic concepts while allowing students to use clay, paint, and pencils to create drawings, sculpture, masks and other exciting projects.
Technology Classes
Students will have access to a state of the art computer lab where they will focus on learning basic applications and completing projects that will prepare them to make full use of other school technology utilized in their content area classes.
Leadership Classes
We will have regular classes for 4th and 5th grade boys and girls. During these classes the students will work with additional role models from our staff and partners. We will use interactive activities, guest speakers and trips to further development leadership traits such as presentation, relational and communication skills, conflict resolution, responsibility, civic and social duty, self identity and goal setting
